A New french community in RURENER !

Its official, Saint Germain l’Herm became a new member of RURENER. This French community, located in the centre of the “monts du Livradois” in Massif Central, has an exemplary citizen approach.
One of the representatives of the municipality in charge of the energy, Olivier HOENNER, explains it: “What would we like for our village in the next 10 or 20 years? It belongs to us to act and decide, to deal with the subjects related to the energy and energy supply, to handle the question of local employment and the impact on the local environment… it can’t all be solved without our implication”
Actions have already been realised:
A heating system for the public and private buildings, studies on the energy and transport consumption, awareness of the citizens…
