RURENER attended the CoM ceremony

One of the last activities within the project lifetime was the representation of RURENER at the Covenant of Mayors Ceremony on November 29th in Brussels. More than 400 mayors and over 1,100 participants gathered at the events at the European Parliament and the Committee of the Region. “Through the Covenant of Mayors, local and regional authorities have shown they are the most relevant actors to reconcile EU energy and climate ambitions with the day-to-day concerns of citizens, and help Europe find its way out of the crisis”, was the main conclusion from key messages delivered.
And RURENER is another way to show the importance of local action, especially in small rural areas.
