MCET project

Helping regions in the Massif Central (FRANCE) to make the transition.

Supported by the Agence Nationale de Cohésion des Territoires in Massif Central, the Massif Central programme brought together 4 partners:

– Rurener, which coordinated the project and organised training courses, sensitive diagnosis and bilateral support.

– Alte 69 (Local Agency about the energetical transition in Rhône), which supported 3 intercommunalités in changing practices and perceptions of soft mobility, and in producing participative maps.

– The Creuse Grand Sud Gathering of Municipalities, which has developed renewable energy projects on communal and inter-communal buildings and integrated their deployment strategy into their PLUi.

– And Mode D’emploi, an association that had already worked on foresight in the Grand Figeac area and a wood industry project developed in 3 communities that wanted to pool roadside pruning to supply their boilers with wood chips from local resources.

Throughout the project, the  the Fabrique des Transitions et Territoires audacieux provided training in systemic change, storytelling and storyboarding for local players.
