Energy Infrastructure Forum 2018
24 May 2018 @ 8 h 00 min - 25 May 2018 @ 17 h 00 min
The Energy Infrastructure Forum is organised by the European Commission and takes place annually in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was set up in 2015 as part of the energy union strategy, which aims to remove technical and regulatory barriers to energy flowing freely across the EU, to discuss major issues relating to infrastructure and EU energy policy. It brings together all those with an interest in these issues, including representatives of EU countries, transmission system operators (TSOs), national energy regulatory authorities, project promoters, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E), the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG), the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), as well as the European Parliament, European Committee of the Regions, European Economic and Social Committee, and NGOs.
