RURENER 2020 General Assembly took place… Online! Given the situation, traveling to Prespes in Greece was not realistic nor safe so the decision to bring the event online was taken. Concretely, it was composed of 2 webinars of 1h30 each. The first on October 29th was dedicated to the General Assembly meeting while the second on October 30th was organized in small workshops on different thematics to inspire new ideas between members, share experiences and build our message at the EU level.

The first workshop focused on the energy transition and attractiveness in rural territories and the second was about the opportunities offered by circular economy in rural territories (more details on the full report).

On September 9th, 10th and 11th, the RURENER team went to Portugal for a COLEOPTER training with all partners. On the programme, visit of the municipality for elected people, training on the conduct of energy-water audits and capacity-building on the conduct of territorial dialogue. An event much expected by the partners to go forward with the project.

Networks live through and for their members. The experience of rural territories involved in the energy transition is precious when comes the moment to design the future of energy in the E.U. It’s also a great input to shape RURENER’s future! This was the purpose of the online workshop that we organized on Wednesday 8^th of July. Throughout the discussion, many new ideas came up to improve the service RURENER offers to its members. We let you discover them, add your suggestions, or comment them here!

Dans le cadre du projet européen COLEOPTER nous recherchons un prestataire de service pour nous accompagner dans l’animation du dialogue territorial sur les territoires pilotes du projet, en particulier en Espagne (Carthagène) et au Portugal (Povoa de Lanhoso). Mission qui devra démarrer mi Septembre 2020.
